LABWORK - Exploring Bio Sciences and Allied FieldsGreetings, Fellow Buckaroos Like hardened wranglers attempting to chase down strong-willed dogies – the ones who continually stray from the herd - we’ve wondered aloud just how in a silver moon we’ll ever rein them all into a single corral and brand them “scientists.” We’ve thought about thinning the herd to focus solely on the commonly understood “life sciences” field, but have opted instead to go down the trail leading the way to a general Roundup of all things science. Our curiosity to discover the fodder that fills the many silos of science in our West Michigan region, and then spin the interesting and inspiring tales of those who perform this economically vital work seems the most fitting harvest of all. So while we may be relative greenhorns to some of the LabWork subject matter herein, and hard pressed on occasion to comprehend any common dots, much less connect them, we will continue to toss our lariats wide and bring you a representative sample of the stampede of science now thundering across our region. As always, we’d be mighty pleased to hear about some more science folks Your Hired Hands (The Editors) Articles in this edition:
