SCHULER’S RESTAURANT AND PUB EXPANDS OUTDOOR DINING PATIO

GRAND OPENING AND RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY HELD JUNE 12
The charm and appeal of downtown Marshall has been enhanced thanks to recent investments made by Schuler’s Restaurant. The patio outside of Winston’s Pub has been expanded and upgraded to better serve guests looking to enjoy an outdoor dining experience. On Thursday, June 12, members of the Battle Creek Chamber of Commerce joined Schuler’s management team for a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the patio grand opening.
Schuler’s management decided to invest in the patio expansion when contractors were in town working on the downtown alley project. As active supporters of the Downtown Development Authority (DDA), they believe the new patio contributes nicely to the downtown streetscape plan developed by Beckett and Radar. With this expansion, the number of guests who will be able to enjoy outdoor dining increased from 12 to 42.
In addition to the expanded dining area, other notable improvements were made. New furniture was purchased, permanent fencing was installed, and outdoor speakers were added allowing guests to enjoy music while dining. A tree that was overgrown and interfering with power lines was removed and replaced with a new tree purchased by Schuler’s. “We hope to set a direction for the DDA to replace some of the other trees in downtown Marshall that have outgrown their location,” said Chairman Hans Schuler.
Schuler’s Sales team will be developing a program for guests who are interested in renting the patio for private parties. Further information may be obtained by calling their Banquets and Catering department at (269)781-0602. With warm weather finally here, Schuler’s cordially invites the community to visit the new patio and enjoy a vast selection of menu items and drinks. |
