Lowry was awarded "Communicator
of the Year" by the Small Business
Association of Michigan (SBAM) in appreciation for
outstanding
dedication to communicating small business issues.
The award ceremony & luncheon was held on June
23, 2005 in East Lansing.

In June 2002 the U.S. Small Business Administration
(SBA) awarded MiBiz® Editor and Publisher William
R. Lowry with two SBA awards: Michigan Small Business
Journalist of the Year and Midwest Regional Small Business
Journalist of the Year.
- Recipient of the 1999 Small Business Advocate Award by the Michigan Small
Business Development Center.
- Named "Michigan Small Business Media Advocate of the Year" by the
U.S. Small Business Administration in 1993. |
