Congratulations to The Grand Rapids Central 7th Day Adventist Church on holding their first services in their new church. After 80 years in their previous church, they now celebrate in a brand-new space. We love the contemporary multi-level ceiling in the sanctuary and the gathering spaces in the church. 🙌

This is yet another innovative urban farm project with ViaChicago Architects, using containers, indoor seed-to-sales, high-tech farms built in urban areas around the US, bringing local produce to its area year-round. 📣🌱 We’re amazed how much produce can grow in a matter of 28 days. We were thrilled with the delicious micro greens and herbs that these projects produce and the thriving community around them. The projects consist of 10 containers stacked on top of each other with a 3,600 sq. ft. front building, mezzanine, seed nursery, nutrients storage, office, wash stations, coolers and shipping.

Veurink’s RV Center Renovation | We built the Veurink's RV Center facility over 20 years ago and this year it was time for a renovation, expansion of spaces and overall refresh with Showroom, Offices, Break Room, Restrooms, and the Parts Services. "Veurink’s RV is one of my favorite projects. Awesome people, new friends, and interesting that it was Dan’s original project. I am very proud of this job." - Monty, Project Superintendent Our Design Team partnered with Interphase Interiors for updated office elements. We loved adding the extras like the liner panel around the lower perimeter, Italian tile at the Coffee Bar, and making the curved flooring transition with polished concrete and LVT.

A Cornerstone University Dorms | Our lives are shaped by moments in learning spaces...being in space on campus that feels like home Cornerstone University’s design build goal for this project was to refresh and renovate their Dorm Lounges, Pickitt and Quincer. The school created a welcoming environment for students and visitors. Sterner Clinic outgrew their facility after seventy years of service in Ionia, Michigan. This required moving to a new facility. The new veterinary clinic features a Reception/Retail area, Six Exam Rooms, Pharmacy, Tech/Lab, X-Ray Room, Surgery Room, Offices, Inventory and Storage Areas, Pack and Prep Area, and Dog Ward. The clinic’s mission is to treat every client and patient as we would treat our families, with respect, honesty, and compassion. The design of the new clinic supports their mission with a grief room for families who part with a pet along with a separate exit. The dog and cat wards offer more room than ever before along with pharmacy, surgery rooms and a communications system.The clinic sees roughly 50-75 pets per day. There are 25 staff members at the Ionia facility. Sterner partners with Countyline Veterinary Service in Westphalia, which serves large animals. There are seven large animal doctors under the Sterner name and 12 veterinarians in total.Clients can now appreciate more flexibility with scheduling and less wait times at the new location. The clinic’s goal is to add more local services.

The expansion of Cottonwood Church in Jenison, Michigan, involves connecting the existing church and gymnasium. The connector addition, designed by TAG Architecture created a community space, auditorium and café. The Foundry Church | Flexibility of space plays a big part in dynamic church design. Just completed, The Foundry Church is a contemporary venue with a variety of worship programs for a large community. The worship center has seating for 750 and multi-purpose seating of 132. Flexible program rooms flank worship space which can be used for group meetings. Classrooms with flexible walls offer the capability of creating one or two combined spaces out of three classrooms. Educational spaces include a dedicated youth room and a large nursery. Life Bridge Church in South Haven called us in to help with some of their AV needs. They were having a difficult time with stage lighting. We came in and provided 7 new front light moving wash fixtures from CHAUVET. This allowed us to balance their cameras and give them a great image for live streaming. We also upgraded their house mixing console to a new Behringer Wing and repurposed their existing X32 to a broadcast studio. Along with new Shure QLXD microphones, the sound was dramatically improved for both live and streaming. The team is very excited about improvments!

Official: Alpena County Regional Airport has officially moved in and are using their new terminal as of yesterday! Parkway installed the paging and data cabling for the project. The new facility offers comfort and convenience for its passengers. An official grand opening will take place in the spring!
