TEDx Macatawa speakers announced

HOLLAND — With backgrounds ranging from theater to medicine to art, the roster at March’s TEDx Macatawa is packed with speakers who will speak to different aspects of the event’s theme “Do More Good.”

The speaker list includes influential community members from the lakeshore and greater Grand Rapids regions. The event will be broken into four sessions in which the TEDx presenters will explore how the TED ideals of innovation in the categories of technology, entertainment and design figure into the event’s theme. The four sessions will focus on doing more good through “Higher Purpose,” “Perseverance,” “Learning” and “Community.” Talk titles include “Would You IF?” “Do It Now,” “By Playing Together” and “Apply Your Knowledge.” Gerry Barnaby will host the event at the Knickerbocker Theatre in downtown Holland.

The presenters scheduled for the event include:
