Closed captioning is a valuable service for the hearing impaired community, but it is an expense to the broadcast industry. The margin for captioning services continues to decrease, putting a strain on high quality captioning companies like Dynamic Captioning. In addition, the pool of quality captioning writers contributes to service issues and a narrowing margin.

What is the best entrepreneurial advice you’ve received?

“Go for the banana” by Coach Warren Keller. It is basically a story about being bold and not waiting for next year or all conditions to be just right before taking a risk.
