Dead cell phones are the bane of business fliers everywhere — well, that and going through security. But passengers traveling through the Gerald R. Ford International Airport are in luck. The airport is installing 46 free charging stations throughout the facility’s concourses that will be able to charge cell phones, laptops and other devices. Each 62-inch-tall charging station has six 120-volt outlets and two USB connections, according to the airport. The installation will be completed next week. [3:32 p.m.]
