Ada-based River Valley Credit Union has begun construction of a new office building and branch in Ada, according to a statement.
The credit union, also with locations in Walker, Lowell and Edmore, will construct the new office on Headley Street, down the road from its existing headquarters at 7130 E. Fulton St., which will remain open during construction.
Ada-based Erhardt Construction Co. will manage the construction project, expected to be complete by this fall, according to the credit union’s statement.
The move is part of the community leaders’ “Envision Ada Plan,” wherein the village aims to create a more walkable downtown area, as planners have previously told MiBiz.
“We have been serving the Ada community for over 50 years, and we are thrilled to be a part of this exciting development” said Janelle Franke, CEO of River Valley Credit Union in a statement.
