Grand Rapids-based Vos Glass Inc. has announced an ownership and leadership transition, according to a statement.
David Turner, previously president of Kent Companies Inc., will succeed Linda Vos-Graham as owner and president of the nearly 35-year-old company. Vos-Graham and her husband Ken Graham, vice president of the company, will remain active in an advisory capacity.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Joining Turner as the company’s board director will be Brian Potter, president of Portland-based Architectural Metals Inc. Vos Glass and AMI have worked together on a number of projects and the two companies have several upcoming projects in the works, according to the statement.
“This is the next step working together on the exterior shell or envelope of buildings,” Potter said in a statement. “We want to further align our businesses to better serve architects, owners, construction managers and general contractors through a comprehensive effort that is unmatched in our industry.”
Additionally, three long-time employees have been named to new roles: Tim Audretsch as vice president of construction, Terry Myers as vice president of retail, and Denise Volpe as controller. These individuals have been prepared and positioned for these executive roles over the past several years.
