GRAND RAPIDS — Oral health care manufacturer Ranir LLC has acquired the building where it’s been a tenant for more than 20 years.
The Grand Rapids-based company recently bought the building for an undisclosed price with the intention of being able to adapt the facility as needed to meet current and projected growth, according to a statement.
Located at 4701 East Paris Ave. SE near Gerald R. Ford International Airport, the 200,000-square-foot facility includes Ranir’s corporate offices, product development and manufacturing.
Ranir has approximately 550 employees working at the facility.
The building was assessed at more than $2.5 million in 2016 and is registered to Los Angeles-based UTF Grand Rapids LLC, according to property records.
“We continue to invest in our business from research and product development to acquisitions and new talent, and felt purchasing our long-time corporate headquarters was an important move to give us complete autonomy and agility in how we operate our business and utilize our space," Rich Sorota, Ranir’s president and CEO, said in a statement. “Our building environment is a critical tool to creating and making great products and serving our retailer and consumer partners.”
