LANSING — A veteran executive from the Michigan Chamber of Commerce will join the administration of Gov. Rick Snyder.
Tricia Kinley, who had previously worked as the senior director of tax and regulatory reform at the Chamber, will join Snyder’s administration, according to a statement today from the governor’s office.
Kinley will serve as External Affairs Director beginning April 24, replacing Tori Sachs. In the role, she will coordinate outreach efforts statewide and work to ensure that priorities of various stakeholders around the state remain part of the administration’s efforts.
“Tricia is well known for having the ability to get things done, and will help us work with community groups and coalitions as we continue toward a better future for all Michiganders,” Snyder said in a statement. “Ensuring we are on the right path cannot be achieved without working together with residents throughout the state. Tricia will be invaluable in bringing these voices together to maintain cohesive policies.”
