HOLLAND — The service provider at West Michigan Regional Airport in Holland has been acquired by the owner of a company that runs a similar operation at Muskegon County Airport.

Fixed-base operator Tulip City Air Service Inc., which has been owned by Ron Ludema for 50 years, sold last week to Terry Boer. Tulip City Air offers private aircraft charter, aircraft sales, maintenance, flight training, and fueling services at the Holland-based facility.

Boer, who holds an airline transport pilot license, also owns Executive Air Transport Inc. in Muskegon.

“With this acquisition, we will be able to provide our customers with an even greater range of services,” Boer said in a statement.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
