BRIMLEY — A division of the Bay Mills Indian Community, based in the eastern Upper Peninsula, has signed an agreement to acquire Four Season’s Market Inc., a grocery store in Brimley, Mich.

MARQUETTE — Easy Ice LLC, a commercial ice machine rental and servicing company, has been acquired by private equity firm Freeman Spogli & Co. of Los Angeles, Calif.

LOWELL — eMotion Controls Co., an automation controls system integrator and software company, has been acquired by a Kentucky firm. 

GRAND RAPIDS — A Mid-Michigan property management firm has acquired Hopson Flats, a mixed-use property in Grand Rapids’ Heartside neighborhood. 

COMSTOCK PARK — John Grace Construction LLC has acquired Muskegon-based Port City Construction & Development Services LLC, the companies announced today.

GRAND RAPIDS — Pallet management firm Kamps Inc. has sold a majority interest to Los Angeles, Calif.-based private equity firm Freeman Spogli & Co.

GRAND RAPIDS — Lambert & Co. closed on its second acquisition in two months with a deal for New York-based Casteel Schoenborn Investor Relations & Corporate Communications. 

KALAMAZOO — Zeigler Automotive Group expects to add $350 million in annual sales with the planned acquisition of three luxury dealerships in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. 

GRAND RAPIDS — Grand Rapids Cardiology has merged with Advanced Cardiac & Vascular Centers for Amputation Prevention PLC, also Grand Rapids.

WYOMING — Real estate appraisal firm Genzink Appraisal Co. has been acquired by Denver, Colo.-based Integra Realty Resources. 

GRAND RAPIDS — Ranir, the oral care division of Perrigo Co. plc, has purchased the assets of Steripod, a toothbrush accessory brand, from Culver City, Calif.-based Bonfit America Inc. 

KALAMAZOO — SalesPage Technologies LLC made its second acquisition in seven months with a deal for SalesStation, a division of Milwaukee, Wisc.-based Celera Systems LLC.

SPARTA — Five months after closing one acquisition, ChoiceOne Financial Services Inc. now plans to do another.

HOLLAND — JR Automation Technologies LLC is now part of Tokyo-based Hitachi Ltd. after the completion of a $1.42 billion deal for the West Michigan-based custom automation systems provider. 

GRAND RAPIDS — Grand Ventures’ portfolio company Sigstr of Indianapolis has been acquired by another growing venture capital-backed tech firm. 

CALEDONIA — Private equity-backed Aspen Surgical Inc. has acquired a Redmond, Wash.-based orthopedic products manufacturer. 

HOLLAND — Suburban Inns, an owner and operator of hotels across Michigan, has acquired CityFlats Hotel in Holland from an affiliate of Zeeland-based Charter House Innovations, MiBiz has learned. 

GRAND RAPIDS — Organic food delivery service Doorganics LLC has been acquired by venture capital-backed GrubMarket Inc. of San Francisco, Calif.

GRAND RAPIDS — Data center equipment maintenance service provider Service Express LLC has been sold to a New York City private equity firm. 

MUSKEGON — Iroquois Hoods Inc., a Muskegon maker of laboratory furniture with a focus on custom fume hoods, was acquired by entrepreneurs Rick Claypool and Nate Thornton.

GRAND RAPIDS — Carroll Capital LLC, a Greenwich, Conn.-based family office, has acquired Grand Rapids-based Elevator Service LLC from owner Nate McFadden.
