Holland builder launching Our Brewing Co.

Petoskey native Trevor Doublestein, who owns Doublestein Builders in Holland, is building himself a brewery, to be named Our Brewing Co. at 76 East 8th Street in Holland.

Perrigo Co. today reported record sales earnings for the 2012 fiscal year and projects to boost profitability even higher in 2013.

Allegiant Air to return to Lansing

Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero, Capital Region International Airport Board Chairman Chris Holman and Lansing Economic Area Partnership CEO and President Bob Trezise announced at a press conference Tuesday morning that Allegiant Air will begin service out of Lansing on Nov. 1.

Thanks to two substantial Small Business Association loans, Alternative Engineering will soon be moving operations from their cramped Broadway Avenue location in the RT London complex to a location on West River Drive.

For the first time in more than three years, the industrial outlook has soured for firms in greater Grand Rapids.

Amway plans $105M expansion in Ada

ADA — Amway plans to invest $180 million, a majority of it in West Michigan, to expand its Nutrilite brand of vitamins and dietary supplements. 
The expansion will occur at four Amway locations – two in Ada, plus Buena Park, Calif., and Quincy, Wash.
