Priority Health CEO Mike Freed plans to retire early next year, ending more than three years as head of the second-largest health plan in Michigan and two decades with parent corporation Spectrum Health. Freed announced his intention retire now to give Priority Heath adequate time to plan a smooth transition to a successor CEO.
