GRAND RAPIDS — McGarry Bair PC, a Grand Rapids-based intellectual property law firm, will move its downtown offices to the recently completed Arena Place mixed-use development at 45 Ottawa Ave. SW.

Currently headquartered across the street at 32 Market Ave. SW, the firm will take 10,000 square feet on the seventh floor of the building, moving in early next year, according to a statement.

McGarry Bair’s current offices are in the same building as Orion Construction Company Inc., the firm that developed Arena Place.

“McGarry Bair decided to relocate to Arena Place because we wanted to find a long-term home for our office in downtown Grand Rapids,” Tom Williams, an attorney at McGarry Bair, said in the statement. “We love being located in downtown Grand Rapids, and our new office space at Arena Place offers great amenities that complement our company’s culture and makes it possible for our team to live and work, all in one building.”

McGarry Bair will join other office tenants such as law firm Miller, Johnson, Snell & Cummiskey PLC, restaurant operator Meritage Hospitality Group Inc., and advertising and branding firm Hanon McKendry Inc.

The Grand Rapids office of commercial real estate brokerage Colliers International Group Inc. brokered the deal, according to the statement.
