LANSING — Neogen Corp. has acquired Nevada-based Preserve International and Tetradyne LLC, a manufacturer of cleaners and disinfectants for the livestock and food processing industries.
Lansing-based Neogen (Nasdaq: NEOG), which manufactures food and animal safety products, inked the deal to gain access to the company’s line of products and manufacturing facilities in Memphis, Tenn. and Turlock, Calif., according to a statement.
Preserve International and Tetradyne are sister companies owned and operated by the Preserve International corporation.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition of Preserve International comes on the heels of another deal by Neogen to acquire Deoxi Biotecnologia Ltda of Brazil in late April 2016.
