New Holland Brewing Co. and Pabst Brewing Co. announce partnership

Holland-based New Holland Brewing Co. and Los Angeles-based Pabst Brewing Co. have announced a deal aimed at increasing New Holland’s sales and distribution.

The companies say that Pabst will take no equity stake in New Holland, with the deal instead acting as a long-term partnership, effective in the first quarter of 2017. Pabst will sell New Holland’s beers nationwide through its own sales channels, taking a percent of the profits, according to a statement.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“This partnership allows us to distribute our beer brands to more consumers throughout the country by leveraging PBC’s robust sales and distribution platform,” Brett VanderKamp, founder and president of New Holland Brewing Co., said in the statement.

New Holland will remain a fully independent company with this partnership, with all brewing operations continuing at the brewery’s Holland facility. New Holland plans to finish 2016 with production of approximately 35,000 barrels of beer.
