CASCADE TOWNSHIP — An entity tied to Grand Rapids-based RDV Corp., a family office for the DeVos family, has sold a portion of a Cascade Township industrial park to a Detroit-area investor.

Meadowbrooke Business Park Association LP, an entity registered to RDV Corp., sold the land at 5794 Broadmoor Ave. SE for $4.5 million to Edward Rose Development Co. LLC, a Bloomfield Hills-based real estate firm, according to public documents.

The deal for the 168-acre property closed on Aug. 31.

Editor’s note: An earlier version of this story identified the seller as Meadowbrooke Business Park Association, an entity tied to Jeff Baker, the CEO of First Companies Inc. in Grand Rapids. However, the seller was actually Meadowbrooke Business Park Association LP. A Cascade Township property record did not include the “LP” in the name. The two Meadowbrooke companies had owned adjacent parcels. We regret the error.
