GRAND RAPIDS — EPS Security has made its second acquisition of 2018.
The deal for Owosso-based Security Alarm Co. allows EPS Security, based in Grand Rapids, to broaden its existing services in Lansing and the southeastern portion of the state, according to a statement.
The family-owned EPS Security plans to retain six Security Alarm Co. employees with the deal, which also included the company’s office in Owosso.
With the acquisition, EPS Security also adds about 1,700 customers. The company plans to monitor Security Alarm’s customers from its headquarters in Grand Rapids.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In June, EPS Security acquired Comstock Park-based Video-Tech-Tronics Inc., as MiBiz previously reported. The company serves clients across Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana.
