Our office renovation for Van Dyken Mechanical was a transformation of the former office space and a conversion of adjacent warehouse into a streamlined HQ. Interior finishes flow smoothly throughout the newly created spaces. Cafe and collaboration areas offer a cool factor with quartz, blackened steel counters and unique color schemes lighting up mechanical work. The exterior received an extensive face lift, while gaining light through glass entries and clerestory windows. The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in Grand Rapids was in need of some updates. Parkway has been contracted to complete the electrical updates that were necessary! Keeping all operations running during this project is one of the challenges our crew is facing, which requires them to provide temporary lighting for the building while the new lighting systems are being installed.

ADAC Automotive is a leading manufacturer of automotive parts headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI. Due to our extensive knowledge of underfloor air distribution systems (UFAD), the VDM/GVA team was chosen to lead the design and construction of the HVAC systems for the new Corporate Headquarters.

Tommy's Express will soon be opening another west Michigan location! The new location on Breton, in Grand Rapids is scheduled to open in early December.

Elzinga & Volkers has been awarded construction of the new Dairy Queen Grill & Chill on East Chicago Street in Coldwater. The 2,657-SF project broke ground in October and be open to the public before Christmas.

Construction of a new 40,000-SF medical office building. 

Embassy Suites by Hilton Grand Rapids Downtown celebrated its grand opening in early April, 2019 after roughly 2 years of construction. The $60 million facility boasts 7 stories, 250 guest rooms, conference rooms, Big E's Sports Grill and many other luxury features. Parkway has had the opportunity to work on the project from the very beginning starting with design and build. Our team has completed the power installation for the whole project as well as A/V installation for all of the meeting spaces and an LED wall at Big E's Sport Bar. Parkway wants to thank Embassy Suites and Suburban Inns for involving us from beginning to end!

The Exchange - Kalamazoo is a mixed-use building in the heart of downtown Kalamazoo. The 15-story building is home to commercial spaces and luxury apartments with city views! Parkway has been involved with the 345,000 square foot project in a number of ways.

Parkway installed Zeeland Stadium's new sound system just in time for the Zeeland East vs. Zeeland West rivalry game this past Friday night!

Flexco Grand Rapids, a manufacturer of conveyor maintenance equipment, is relocating its Michigan operations to the WalkerView Industrial Park. 

Congratulations to Square Roots an indoor seed-to-sales urban farm opening its indoor farm at the Gordon Food Service in Wyoming, Michigan. This project is one of first in partnership with Square Roots’ high-tech farms being built on or near Gordon Food Service locations, bringing local produce to the area year round. KALAMAZOO — Bronson Healthcare recently began work on a series of new medical office buildings that will house care providers moving to the Kalamazoo health system next year.

Our in-house architectural and engineering team has designed the Sterner Veterinary Clinic's new Ionia facility and construction is underway! The new Vet Clinic will have a reception and retail area, six exam rooms, pharmacy, tech/Lab, X-ray services, surgery, offices, inventory storage, pack & prep Area, and dog ward. We are eager to see how these spaces support and facilitate the clinic’s mission; ”Treat every client and patient as we would treat our families, with respect, honesty, and compassion.” 🐶🦴🐈

A 4.5-acre parcel in the Muskegon County Airport Business Park will be home to Blue Photon's new 14,680 sq. ft. production facility in the near future. Headquartered in Shelby, MI, Blue Photon manufactures photo-activated "workholding" adhesive systems used by well-known companies such as GE Aviation, Apple Inc., and Lockheed Martin.  

ZEELAND — Plascore Inc., a manufacturer of lightweight composite products, is investing nearly $6 million to expand its footprint in Zeeland.

WALKER — The owners of 1983 Brewing Company LLC are one step closer to opening Walker’s second brewery.

That morning light sure does look nice on Tommy's Express Car Wash's location in Grand Rapids (44th and Breton). Just a couple more months and this wash will be ready for customers!

Our client, Creative Products International, held an open house this afternoon. Owner and Founder, Dave, walked a group through the second phase of this project. The fit-out will include a variety of rooms to showcase their products, including: a gym, coffee shop, quick serve restaurant, dentist office, hospital room, commercial kitchen, classroom and more. We're excited to see the progress on this and can't wait to show off the final photos in 2020!

Last week, we completed phase II of Holland Hospital's Boven Birth Center. This phase included a new c-section OR, a two bay prep/recovery area, a new nurse station and more.

Elzinga & Volkers, Inc. Construction Professionals graciously hosted a cookout in celebration of the completion of Phase II of the Holland Hospital Boven Birth Center. This project featured labor, delivery and recover rooms, a post-anesthesia care unit, a c-section OR, nurse station and offices. Town & Country Group's versatile team played key roles in this project, including installing electrical, access controls, fire alarms, data, medical gas control, intercom and nurse-call systems. We are looking forward to Phase III!

Creating new office headquarters for Emmanuel Hospice involved combining separate business suites and forming a clean and streamlined 5,472 sq. ft. office buildout that maximizes on the original elements of the building. Sequencing of the work was done in smooth coordination with trade craftsmen on the project to ensure that restored areas were kept pristine during ongoing work. Although the cleaning and repair of elements like wood beams and the floor was a task, it offered a great opportunity in creating an authentic and quality office space.
